SAPERE TRAINING IN PHILOSOPHICAL THINKING FOR SCHOOLS & OTHER EDUCATIONAL SETTINGS

SAPERE is the Society for Advancing Philosophical Enquiry and Reflection in Education, and is the only internationally recognised P4C charity in the UK.

The acronym also means 'to be wise'. Thousands of teachers have taken the Level 1 course and often go on to achieve Level 2 & 3 to become registered SAPERE trainers. It is an internationally recognised charity that promotes Philosophy for Children in the UK.  It was established in 1993 with an office in Oxford.
I am aregistered as a Level 1 trainer on the SAPERE website and all my Level 1 courses are SAPERE validated.

What does SAPERE do?
SAPERE coordinates and organises specialist training for teachers and educators  at Levels 1, 2 and 3. It supports a growing network of P4C trainers and practitioners across the UK.  SAPERE  works collaboratively with other educational institutions to organise  events, conferences and seminars  relating to the practice and theory behind P4C.

SAPERE is a registered charity with a growing membership, and has been training educators since 1993.
